Is there a way to adjust the meter needle travel on the Oly Trip 35? The meter and auto aperture features are working but, when the light is too low, the needle doesn't move all the way to the left as it should. It's short by about a 1/8 inch. Since it doesn't move all the way, the red flag doesn't pop up under low light and the shutter release block doesn't happen as it should. If I block the light meter and manually push the needle all the way to the left then the red flag and shutter block works. I see nothing blocking the travel of the needle. Otherwise, the camera seems to operate properly. Is there a way to adjust the needle travel so it moves all the way to left under low light?

Hi Bob, Have you tried the Trip-35 group at Flickr? Several people on there have repaired their own, so it's possible that one of them has dealt with the same problem. Hope that helps, Adrian |
