Any ideas? TSUBOSAKA ELECTRIC CAMERA SHUTTER TESTER, The model # T-1776 Type 7F-7L3. I could find much in a google search. I found Tsubosaka home page but this model is not listed anymore and they don't list prices. The unit is tested and marked as good shape and working properly.

"Worth" depends a lot upon wheter one is a buyer, seller, or user. It sounds like you are in a buying situation. I'd low-ball at $50 and see how it goes from there. |

Well I bought it and now have no idea how to use it. No instructions. maybe if I knew what the abbrev's on the dial meant I could figure it out. Any help Please, I am fairly new to camera repair, but having a great time with what I have done. Of course I have no idea if any of my repairs are accurate. <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3101/2830736507_71f1f03052.jpg" <img> |

I'm unable to see the picture but from the first picture, I'd guess the three LED readouts are for the shutter speeds on a focal plane shutter. One would be the leading edge speed, one for middle and one for closing edge. On a good shutter the leading edge should nearly match the closing edge. This is called balance or side to side exposure. You should get 1 mili second at 1/1000 sec exposure, 2mS at 1/500 ect. 1 second exposure should be 1000mS, 1/2 sec exposure should be 500mS ect. Experament with the different settings and see what you get. If I could see a picture of the switch I may be able to tell you more. |
