Since this question seems to come up a lot (it just came up on this forum), I've put together a set of instructions for troubleshooting and repairing a selenium light meter. All my Voigtlander Vitessa-T rangefinder cameras (1956-1958) have selenium cell exposure meters similar in general design to the Olympus Auto Eye II whose meter you replaced and re-adjusted in your camera. Especially useful is the information about the two resistors, an arrangement similar to the meter design I have found in the tops of the Vitessa-T cameras. Arnold Harris Mount Horeb WI |
