Here are the problems I am receiving: Canon Powershot Pro S3 IS: Battery either drains quickly or something is wrong with chamber. After up to 20 minutes of use (with rechargeable batteries [3 with 2500 mAH and 1 with 2300 mAH) the camera shuts off and requests a change of batteries when turned on. Canon Powershot SD700 IS - Lens will not open, camera turns on -- displays "lens error, restart camera". Canon Powershot SD630 - Turns on and hear picture taking noise. Screen completely white with an imprint on the top left hand corner. Sony Cybershot DSC-S500 - Lens opens only partially sometimes (shuts completely others) leaving blurry image. When camera powers off lens still pops out and lid opens fully. Olympus FE-190 - Makes a clicking noise and unit does not turn on. The lens remains open and pops out. Please assist me in the most efficient methods of repair for these cameras. |

I think you maybe picked the wrong forum. Please read the first two paragraphs here: https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/forum/board-topics.html I am sure there are already quite a few forums which specialize in your type of cameras. |

I'm sorry, I couldn't find anything aside from here. I'll eventually get to older cameras. Please direct me somewhere I can get sufficient help. |

at http://groups.yahoo.com there quite a lot of groups for various Canon Powershot cameras (e.g. an Powershot S group, an Ixus 750 group etc.) Simply enter Canon Powershot in the "search groups" field. Some of the groups are public others you will have to join. You will also find the camera-fix group at Yahoo which deals with a lot of cameras. There will be also specialized groups for other brands - of course. |
