I tinker around in my lab and make things that help me do certain tasks. I found what I think is a frame counter from an old camera. Counters are something I can always use.

Can you tell if this is from an old camera and if so what camera it came from so I might be able to find more?

Thanks,

Darylcounter

I may be completely wrong, but I doubt that this piece ever graced the internals of any camera. (Someone will now say they have the exact camera body that this 'assembly' was removed from!)

Maybe a 6 by 4.5 format by the numbers. Looks awful large though. Who knows maybe it measured yard goods he he .

way too large for any camera I can think of, but many kinds of machines had a use for a counter. It looks like there would have been a "pin-on-a-wheel" style cam that would rotate counterclockwise in the cutout on the left so as to advance the counter one number per revolution of the cam.
