Cleaned and lubed an early (S series) Contax IIa. The slow speed escapement is nice and smooth. I can only get the slow speeds to work when I manually place the escapement pallet into the relief of the #2 curtain control cam. I don't think I lost any parts, but I do not see how the pallet would find it's way back into the relief without me pushing it into place. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
