so i just came across this very nice albeit lensless SRT200 in a thrift store. Seems like a strange twist of fate seeing how i was reading about how well liked these are yesterday. Shutter and everything else checked out so i bought it, came home and tossed on a MD lens just to make sure it fit, and it did. now the thing is, the lens won't come off. I'm not sure if the release button is done for or if i goofed putting it on somehow. It's absolutely stuck and i'm not sure what to do from here. any suggestions? |

The lens release catch is the small chrome knob at the 1 o'clock position on the camera facia. The button on the MD lenses, ala Canon, doesn't release the lens, it is for locking the aperture tab at F22 when used on Minolta shutter priority automation. Apologies, if this is stating the obvious. |

Well now don't i feel stupid. I instantly assumed big chrome button = lens come off. Never would've guessed it was the know. Thanks. |
