Richard Creviston's method works well. I have used sculpey for replacing rubber sides (called scales) on a pocket knife with good results. The one possible modification to his instructions that I would suggest is to use Sculpey "Superflex" clay which is more flexible and can be mixed with regular sculpey to make it more firm if desired. It is sold individually, or in little kits as "Flexible Friend Bookmarks". Google "Polymer central" website for lots of info on these products. Bake them fully, but not overbaked for the best longevity, etc. |

Oh, yes, Camera Leather.com had some very nice covering options for my old Leica and they have lots of recovering "skins" for nearly all cameras. |
