Hi I've posted a request for a cover cap for a Yashica A focusing knob in the SWAP ZONE section. Mine is missing. However I was wondering if anyone knows if the cover caps from any other Yashica TLR models focusing knobs will fit? Any advice appreciated.

I don't remember but think they all fit each other.

Does anyone know how to get that cap thing off? I've seen another camera (LM) with the same type of knob and cap but am unsure of how to remove it. It has two holes which suggest a point spanner - light application reveals no movement. There may be tiny, tiny flat head screws down those holes, I'm not sure.

It spins off. Try a few drops of lighter fluid to lubricate things.

Thanks Tom I'll give that a go. Do you think there are there screws in those holes that need to be loosened? Cheers

No screws.

If you need the part, we probably have one here.

Hi Tom it worked! Couple of drops of lighter fluid and off it came. If you have got a replacement cap I would be very grateful, this one is pretty wrecked. Thanks again for your help
