I require a Yashinon 80mm/F3.5 front element for a Yashica LM. Anyone? |

IIRC the front and back elements are matched pairs. i.e. you need a complete lens (sans shutter). no, I don't have a spare one, neither half nor complete, unfortunately... Marek |

Yashinon (4 elements)? Not Yashikor (3 elements)? Pretty sure those were Yashikor lenses in the LMs. If you are upgrading it to the Yashinon you will need the back half as well. |

I have the beastie in front of me now. Definitely a Yashinon! It seems there were some variations. I have three of them, one with a folding cover over the cell, and the readout mounted on the side of the body. No mention of this type in my McKeown's. |

What happened to your lens? Is it cracked? |

Hello. No, it just looks as if someone cleaned it with sandpaper! |

I can't find the envelope from the time you got the LM meter from me so be so kind as to e-mail your address. What is the serial # on the lens? Have two fronts here. Seems like it would be the right thing to send the one with a serial # most close to yours to keep it as original and compatible as possible. Now, if someone has the rear glass element from an 80mm f2.8 Kaligar for the Kalimar Six-Sixty I could use that. It is a protruding element and, as you can guess, the prior owner put it down on the table too often so now it looks like it has been "sandpapered". |

owtch.... you don't come across the Kaligars every day either..... :\= I've been lucky with mine, they all seem to have had cautious owners. That 80mm was just begging for damage.... |
