I picked up the pictured item in a lot of other photo stuff. Does anyone recognize this? My first thought is that it is a slave flash sensor, but the prongs on the back are almost the same as a household electrical plug.

Flash slave with AC contact (do not plug it into AC). AC contact plug is for the more pro flashes. Remember these going for $9.99 in the old days. |

I picked up a flash unit (I thought) with that plug on it which was plugged into a cigarette lighter adapter.I connected it to the socket in my truck and it turned on a bright, steady light. I thought, how can this be?...LOL. I then plugged it into a household socket......I now need a new bulb for it.Ha.Ron G |
