I tried cleaning the glass (where you look through) in my box cameras but nothing is working! They just look foggy and you can't even see the mirror below, what should I do about that? I have to say this is a ton of fun gettin these pretty haha |

Are you sure it is fogged and not a piece of ground glass like they usually had? |

I'll second that - lots of box cameras (not all -but the majority) have ground glass rather than clear glass in the viewfinder. I think the idea is that the image from the mirror is projected onto this, rather than looking straight at the mirror and (presumably) getting a distorted image. Take them out into bright light, hold the camera at waist level, and peer down towards the viewfinder. With a bit of luck you'll see something. |

Ditto ditto... I usually wind up seeing if these things work by pointing them at a bright window, or if it's night, at a lamp. An outline of the window or a light bulb will appear. |
