I recently purchased a Nikon EM. The camera seems mechanically and electronically sound, with one small problem. While the light meter seems to be working, the needle for the light meter occasionally "sticks" at the high point of its travel. This happens most often after periods of inactivity, as the "rest" position of the needle is at this high point, but sometimes after the shutter releases after a shot in bright light, the needle bounces up to this high point and sticks there. Has anyone else had a similar issue with this model, and if so, was it a mechanical or electronic issue? |
