I need to get into my 18mm c/y distagon, because there is 1mm "play"in the focusing mechanism. Can anyone tell me what is the acces route for this lens?

Don't know that lens, but many lenses have their focussing rings held against the helicoid by grub screws under a rubber focussing ring cover. They sometimes come loose and simply need tightening with the lens focussed correctly at infinity. |
