Does anyone have information on who (besides Pentacon) made cameras under this name? I just picked up a leaf shutter SLR that looks like a Kiev 10 with this name on it. |

I suspect you may have picked up one of the Pentina derivatives, made of course by Pentacon. Plenty of information on the internet, if one cares to look. |

Yeah, I saw those. Those are more like Nikkorex's than Kiev 10's. Here's a pic on the bay.

Cavalier used to be a house brand of Willoughby's, a big camera shop in New York. I have a Cavalier lens I bought there in about 1970. No idea who made it.
Here's a page on the Ricoh Singlex TLS, in its Sears version, also sold as a Cavalier, as well as "Focal" for K-Mart.
