The problem with the selenium powered meters is often the electrical contacts which is often a friction fit.Be sure that they are clean and conducting properly.
I have read that you can source the cell itself from old calculators etc.
You can buy them new from Quality Light Metrics in California.They have no website but you can Google for a phone number.Ask for George Milton.He is a real gentleman and very helpful.
I bought one from him and it arrived in a first class mailing envelope at a very good price.Ron G |
