The brass retaining ring in my Canon IIF was completely frozen in place and I destroyed it trying to remove the slow speed dial to get to other repairs. I need a slow speed assmbly from a Canon IIF or compatible to bring my baby back. Needless to say, I'm very unhappy about this since it was one of my favorites. Thanks very much! |

Want to update this request with a photo of my ruined slow speed assembly. If I can extract the brass ring (mangled in photo but used to have slots for a spanner wrench) without damaging the surrounding parts, I can hope to reassemble this. Now, there appear to be many different versions of the IIF slow speed assembly - hence the photo. Mine doesn't seem to be common on IIF but might be standard on a different Canon RF model. All help is greatly appreciated!!! |

I've located this part. DAG Camera Parts (online) has quite the selection. I thought I'd share, just so long as everyone leaves a few bits for me. |
