I just picked up a beauty! didn't see how good it was till I got it home. Yashica Lynx 5000 in near mint condition, only thing I can see it an ever so slight tiny rub mark on the front rangefinder frame above the lens. the leatherette is mint fresh and chrome not a single scratch. It came with a very nice case and the original instruction booklet is in mint too! I think I'm in love, this thing needs no batteries (to work, just for meter) shutter speed (works like new) from B-1000 a leaf at 1000! and it's 45mm f1.8-22 lens is crystal clear and exterior in mint. The camera itself is slightly smaller than my Electro GSN and is "made" so much better. I even love the cool font of the YASHICA on top cover. The metering system is sweet too, much like my Olympus OM-1n, a needle that centers on top is cool and it it's plastic cover is crystal clear like new. I might have to adjust the rangefinder focus though but I have two Voigtlanders that have manual focus so if I have to I could do that. How do I adjust the rangefinder on this model? |

Cameras like this either have a circular little cover somewhere on top that spins off or the entry point is under the accessory shoe. |

You should read your original post before starting another redundant thread. https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/forum/messages/2/24196.html?1333557076 PF |

This was a thread to share my new camera as this it the appropriate forum for that (2 large paragraphs above) sorry for the tiny sentence at the end mentioning I might need a fix on it. I would hardly call it "redundant" |
