I have a Fed 2 I picked up a few months ago. Just as I started getting comfortable with it (I generally shoot digital), I ran into a problem. As I wind the film to advance to the next photo, it just keeps winding. It does not click to stop advancing and will not cock the button to shoot.

My gut tells me I did something to the dial around the shutter when I unloaded the last roll of film, but I am not sure what to look for.

Any ideas?

Did you remember to reset the rewind switch?

With this camera that would be the collar around the shutter button. This needs to be in the 'up' position.

If that's not the problem, check if the two pins under the sprocketed roller inside the camera are connecting at all when turning the film advance knob. The pins probably disengaged when you rewound the film, but old grease or dirt might have prevented them from re-enagaging.
