I have had in my possession for many years a new Bell & Howell Angenieux 1" f/0.95 for 70-200, B&H No. 27891. On the lens cap, it says "Size 5.5 Is this lens worth anything, as it is new in the box? Any information would be appreciated. |

Sounds like a cine lens, I don't know the model camera it's for. There were a lot of 70 series cameras. I expect it's worth something, but a picture of it would be nice. |

It sure looks like a fast normal lens for a 16mm cine camera. Can't see the mount, but it's very likely a threaded C-mount, since Bell and Howell used that. |

Really? I'd like to see the person silly enough to pay that much. Not saying there isn't such a person, of course, but one hasn't sold for half that on ebay in recent history. |

Lots of people are using these with adapters on their 4/3rds digitals and other digital cameras. Yes, it is worth something. Put it on eBay. Start it at $9.99 (to avoid a higher listing fee) and let it go. You will be happy with the result. If you sell international, remember, only ship by Express or Priority mail (not flat rate Priority) and insure it. |

Shouldn't these old 16mm lenses vignette on micro 4/3, especially wide open? The 16mm frame is considerably smaller in both height and width. I doubt I'd even want to use a Super-16 lens unless I really wanted vignetting. |
