Bought a used TC-201, and it's missing one of the two screws that hold the aperture stop-down pawl(?) on the "lens" side. 2.5 mm dia Pan head, cross (philips/JIS) drive, 2mm long, 1.3mm measured thread dia (I know, it's supposed to be either 1.2mm or 1.4mm, but that's what it measures) and 4 or 5 threads in the 2mm length, which I think makes it 0.25 pitch. If you have one, please contact me and we can figure out an exchange. I'll send a photo if any of this is unclear. |

I found one! A standard M1.4 screw fits, and I got them from an RC model parts supplier. In case anyone else is looking for similar screws, they came in a pack of varying lengths as replacement parts from GAUI (p/n 212653) and I bought them over the net from www.allerc.com -- under $10 including shipping! |

I can second that source of small screws, rods (threaded and non), and bulk plastic for machining. I have a hobby shop nearby that specializes in RC planes -- they have been a good source of many things. Even tools. |
