Hello Forum! I was Looking around a second hand store and found a old Ricoh XR-P for sale. I had a Look the Mirror is in good condition and so is the rest of the camera. Only issue Is that It's Film Advance Lever isnt working Its not Turning over... I was wondering If generally this could be easily fixed? They selling it for around $20 With a Ricoh 50mm Lense (also In good Condition) So the Question is, Could I Fix It with out the need of extra parts? A Film Enthusiast Joshua |

if the film advance lever doesn't move it is probably dur to the shutter being cocked already, May need new battery to fire the shutter. |

You say its loose, rather than jammed? This suggests something broken in the linkages somewhere, perhaps someone has forced it? It looks like quite a complex electronic camera (although I've never had one), there may be a simple fix but depending on your repair knowledge, I'd suggest that its best to look for a working one elsewhere. |
