Hi everyone, I recently picked up a non-working Schneider Kreuznach Edixa 50mm f/1.9 lens which I've undertaken to rehab, and it seems that a previous owner monkeyed around in the mount and reassembled it incorrectly. The m42 aperture triggering mechanism in this lens is, shall we say, "unique" compared to those I am used to in Japanese-made m42, and although I believe I am on the right track, I still can't get everything to line up correctly. I'm also still not sure whether there are parts missing. If anyone could point me in the direction of tear-downs/repair manuals/blueprints/etc. of this lens or any related m42 Schneider lenses, I would be very very grateful. |
