Is there any place to obtain replacement flash tubes ? I have 3 Canonet Canolite40 units with a burned out bulb. You can see a burned /rupture spot on the bulb just looking through the glass. I would like to get them up and running ---any help? |

Mostly you find these things at electronics places like All Electronics, Alltronics, and, especially, The Electronics Goldmine (who bought out Honeywell Strobonar stock ages ago). There are others. Search electronic surplus. |

WOW!! That turned out well, I found a Xenon tube strobe there that , from all appearances is an exact replacement for the Canolite tube . Measurements are the same, and terminals look identical. Got a half dozen coming , I have 3 as I said and the tubes were only 1.79 each. THANKS MUCH!! Dave |

I remember a time when Eio.com had new Nikon F4 shutter assemblies for $24. Anyway, people who restore cameras and stuff would do well to look up electronic surplus sources because the parts are plentiful and, usually, cheaper than camera part sellers. The super link to everything, including optics, is: http://www.amasci.com/supliers.html |
