I've just received a copy of the above lens from Russia and there's a problem; the pin that should open the aperture to it's fullest extent when the lens is fitted to the Kiev 88CM camera does not achieve this. There is spring pressure on the pin and it pops back after being depressed but does not move the blades. The aperture selection ring opens and closes the aperture when revolved, when the lens is on or off the camera, irrespective of any position of the pin. As sending the lens back will probably cost more than the lens is worth, I'm considering attempting a fix. Any suggestions as to what the problem is and any advice for a repair? |

Problem solved! Partial disassembly and replacement of a broken spring has solved the problem. |
