I was never here but I did consult the archives on many occasions during the past 4-5 years. I always thought it was unfortunate that such gold mine of camera repair information had closed down. I’m glad it was revived :-) |

There is often an interesting momentum with sites like this. Once broken, that momentum takes a while to resume...if it does. Hopefully it rebounds. I thought Covid and all that stuff might have helped. |

There are still some small glitches in the software. The admin asked for feedback on modernizing the forum, but I did not have permission to post in that section, though I have no problem here. |

Back when this forum was buzzing, it was one of the few places helping with camera repair. Now, there are other groups with the same aim, and that is where the posters are. |

Lost that Post-It note where I had my Admin log-in info, then forgot all about the site being back up again. So, after a new password reset, I'm back in the fold.
@Mike Conneally: If you want to reply to the request for approval on modernizing the forum you have to do it through the e-mail that was sent out to everybody. That's even more archaic than the original site, but then so is having to input log-in info every time one replies to a posted thread.
Good to see so many have come back to the forum, now I have to get caught up on all the new posts.
