Hi, it's good to be back.
I wish to remove the lens mount from a Kiev camera. I have got the front panel off and have removed the four screws that hold the square panel where the lens mount is attached. The panel is now loose but I cannot remove it as it is obstructed by the focussing mechanism. I do not want to force it, can anybody adviseme how to proceed? Thanks, Norman |

If I’m not wrong you have to take out the top cover and the rangefinder mechanism after this, then the lens mount will be out. |

Hi Alex, that's what I thought but after removing all the top parts it still wouldn't come off. So I gave it a mighty tug and off it came with no apparent damage! |
