Hi everyone Recently I bought a great looking, but not fully working Rolleivision 66 slide projector. The problem is that it does not advance the tray to the next slide unless the tray is pushed (very, very lightly) or I pull the slide changer slightly. It seldom happens when the tray is moving backwards. Most likely the projector has not seen any use in several years. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Also, how can I remove the plastic "magazine track" to check whether anything needs cleaning under there? There's a number of screws on the underside of the projector, but I'm reluctant to unscrew them as I don't know what they might be holding. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Michael |

There's a repair manual at http://ms-photo.de/Rollei-P/PDF-Documents/Rollei-P66s_Rep.book.PDF which might help. Not sure it's the same model as you have but could be similar. www.contax139.co.uk

Thanks, Peter I have now solved the problem. I washed the two rubber driving belts - in my hands- with Ajax classic cleaning powder (scouring powder) and the projector works now as it should. All the best Michael |
