Hi, I have a Nikon EM that has a film advance lever that will not advance. Tried everything I could think of to fix it, anyone have any suggestions or a repair manual that they'd be willing to share? Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Beyond the various suggestions that you will certainly receive on this site, please remember that there was a motor for the EM. These are pretty cheap to find on e-bay or from other sources. Of course, however, you will want to try one beforehand in order to be sure that it is only the lever that it faulty, and not the entire advance mechanism. |

Roger, I have a repair manual for this camera. I might be able to email a PDF copy within a week or so. However, the Nikon EM is very cheap vs. repair costs so explore replacement as well as repair. miles |

is the battery good? set shutter on "B" and see if it works. if it does then the battery is bad. |

I have an EM. A guy at Wolf Camera said the photocell is bad. What is involved in replacing this item. Parts availability and cost, etc. Thanks. |
