Hi i have an Olympus OM2n and my problem is with the diaphragma, i think, because when i shoot or push the depth of field preview bottom, the diaphragma stay closed. I solve this closing the lens and opening again. i read that one problem of the zuiko lens is the sticky diaphragma, but i am not sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks Andres |

Olympus diaphragms do tend to be sticky sometimes, because the lens is designed to stay open in storage unlike some other brands. staying closed after exposure is a slight inconvenience, but it is usually accompanied by slow closing, which can lead to erratic overexposure. the OTF metering system on the OM2n will often automatically correct for this problem but in bright light or in manual mode it's a problem. The lens should be cleaned. rick = |
