Wendy, The Ricoh 300S is a pretty simple camera, a manual will be difficult to find. To focus, you will have to lign up the double image in the rangefinder window - there is a 'lighter' spot in the center of the finder, that is your rangefinder. Turn the lens' focusing ring and see how the image becomes one. For exposure settings you will have to rely on a separate lightmeter, as this camera does not have one. Transfer the readings from the lightmeter to your camera's shutter (S) and aperture (F) dials, or use the exposure guide supplied with your film. This is a fully manual camera and even though simple, will require some basic photographic knowledge. Good luck, Jan |
