This is a very common problem with Autocords. I've seen lots of them with missing or replaced knobs. I think the problem is the focus gets stiff with old gummed up lubricants and the owner tries to force the focus lever which is a very weak degign. Try roughening up the mounting point and attaching a replacement with superglue.

Hi all.
I have a Minolta Autocord that I used some 25 years ago. Suddenly it basically collapsed. The film advance crank stopped working, focusing lever does not work, a variety of screws fell out, the shutter release does not work....
Can anyone point me towards a repair manual or some sort of instructions or good advise.
I would greatly appreciate any advise sent to my e-mail directly as I sadly don't have time to monitor this bulletin board.
Many thanks,
Olafur
