Hi,
I just bought a new FT on eBay and I found I can see is a completely loose screw rolling around in the viewfinder. Is it possible to remove it easily?
Regards,
Hai

There are probably easier cameras to open, but if you email me at [email protected] I'll send you some sketches to get you into the camera.

Don't use it in the meantime: if that screw falls into the shutter gears it will jam, and then it may be harder to get it apart.

Also if you click on "repair manuals" above there is a listing for the Pen FT although probably not as useful as Rick's info.

Thanks for Charlie and especially Rick that helped me solve this issue. I dismantled the top of the camera and was able to remove the screw. The camera works fine now, so I am not going to touch it...
