I've never had any problems with the data panel before & now all of a sudden the numbers are half gone [like a broken digital clock]. I've tried changing the batteries, but nothing seems to be working. It's very difficult to read my settings. Also, when I look through the viewfinder, the light meter numbers are like that too.

I think that maybe your problem is with the Lithium battery hidden under the stainless steel plate as seen when you are installing the regular batteries. The plate is held in place with six small screws. Be careful when removing the screws to note their location as some are longer than others. Also note how the battery is installed. I believe the plus side goes up, but be observent and note which side is up.You will need a small philipps screw driver to remove and replace these screws. You can find the Lithium battery at many drug stores or Radio Shack. Good Luck
