Hi,

I have a X-700 and its shutter fires intermittently. I just rolled a roll of film with that, and it was fine. But today it just developed this situation.

With camera on in Manual, Program, and Aperture modes there is either the M, P, or A, as well as light meter LEDs. When I push the shutter button nothing happens, the lights stay on. I can get the shutter to operate maybe 1 of 50 tries, while I am wiggling the shutter button, moving the camera around, and adjusting the F stop. It almost seems like something is not getting a good connection. It seems odd to me because I was able to take the first roll of 24 exposures with out any trouble, and when I tried to load the next roll I could not wind it in, or make the shutter operate.

Any ideas?
