I snagged a great deal on camera that uses old 625 battery. ricoh tls 401 since wein cells have same exact voltage as original they seem like best way too go. any input from those that use them apprecitated.could person keep wein cell battery,s in very small zip lock bag like inch square to minimize air exposure when their not being used to extend battery life. or once put in service they would slowly die any way. Thanks James

I have found that by sealing the vent hole with the original adhesive tab, or a piece of Scotch Tape, the Wein Cell life is extended.
I have not done any serious comparitive tests (sealed vs.unsealed) but life seems to be extended when re-sealed.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has done a comprehensive test on this subject.

Richard.
