Hi all,

I have a Praktica B200 with a focus problem. When I focus through the viewfinder, it looks good and sharp, but when I get the prints back, they're out of focus. All the prints seem to be out of focus evenly across the whole frame. I've checked the spring loaded film plate on the back door, and it seems fine.

This started happening when I went from my old B100, to my new B200 body. I suspect there's something out of whack with the prism or mirror. Is this possible, and can I attempt to service or check it myself?

Thanks.

First check by setting the lens to it's infinity position and look through the viewfinder. Are distant objects in sharp focus?

At infinity, my 'good' lens is sharp, and another lens isn't. I do know that in use, both lenses give me the same unfocused prints though. My 'good' lens is a CZJ 135mm which was the main reason why I bought the B200 when the B100 body broke.
