Just crossposted from the Photo.net Classic camera forum, but I suppose this is the right place to ask my questions about camera repair.

So, I've got a nice Kodak Signet 80 outfit on the EvilBay. Unfortunately, the camera arrived with the unworking rangefinder and its shutter sometimes jams (shutter blades open and don't close until I advance the film wind lever again, or shutter blades can close but not fully, leaving the hole between them, or shutter can't even cock when I push the film wind lever). I know that the shutters are the worst part of the Signet line of Kodaks, so it must be at least cleaned and relubricated (if necessary). But where I live there are no US camera repairmen and to ship the camera to US will cost more than the camera cost itself, so I have to CLA the Signet by myself.
Does anybody have any experience in making DIY CLA for Signet 50/80 shutters? If yes, any advices will be kindly appreciated. BTW, how to disassembe the camera to reach the shutter (I could find only one screw under the lens release knob).
And another question about the repair of the rangefinder. The split image doesn't move at all, so I think the RF mechanism must be repaired and adjusted.
Thanks in advance!
