The good news is, someone gave me a Leica I(a).

The bad news is, it had already been taken to bits to repair damage to the shutter ribbons, and then given up on. It seems, though, that all the bits are present.

What I can't figure out without help is where to attach the shutter curtains/tapes to the drum. Most notes on the subject suggest that you make a note of where the old ones are attached, but this option isn't avilable to me. Can someone please help me out with this one, it's a lovely camera and I've no intention of it being a scrapper if at all avoidable!
