Well, seems that my luck has run out... :-)
I recently aquired an Ikonta 521/2 (ebay). I should know that you get what you pay for... It's in fair cosmetic condition and the rest is another story. The main problem is the shutter (Klio 1 - 175 & B w/self timer). It would fire the shutter but the speed ring would not "change" the speed. Started with a few drops of Ronsonol... no help. Removed the shutter/lens and opened it up. There were parts just "laying" in the case. They were part of the escapement assy. Went to a web page that describes the Klio shutter but it's not the same one as mine. Right now my "project" is on "hold". I guess I should be asking if anyone has a like shutter I could buy/trade for. The lens appears in good shape (Novar-anastigmat 1:4.5 10.5 CM). Also, any suggestions on restoring the covers which seem to be "flaking" and very delicate. Any suggestions/help would be well received and appreciated...... Parts camera???
Thank you all....
Frank.
