Wondering if anyone knows if the cap on the film advance lever from an Pentax MG body will work on a Pentax ME?
I am looking at purchasing an ME body with a missing cap. I could use the cap from my MG body.

I know it works the other way around. So I suppose MG to ME ought to work too. Left hand threaded screw, it is really easy to twist off the threaded section.

I did it personally: it is the same thing.

The ME arrived today. I took the cap off of the MG film advance lever. It is not screwing in to the ME. Yes, I know it is left hand threads.

I have here 1 MG, 1 ME, 2 ME Super, 1 MEF: they all have the same cap! So sorry your MG is an odd one (or maybe the ME).

It should be the same cap. Perhaps there is some glue in the thread or somebody tried to screw the cap on the wrong way around and damaged the first thread. I have a spare MV cap in black in fair condition, if you want it you can send me a pm with your adress and I shall mail it to you .
