Does anybody know a good (preferrably cheap!)place to pick up the spanner/wrench things for removing retaining rings etc on lenses in the UK? It looks like they can be licked up on ebay from abroad, but they must be on sale here. Any ideas? Thanks Sam. |

The first place I would try is www.micro-tools.com - they operate both from the US and from Germany. They have a variety in terms of quality, features and cost. I only have one or two actual spanners; for most applications I make my own by buying cheap long-nose pliers and grinding the points to the desired shape. |
