Does anybody know where it is possible to find angled nut drivers? Do such things exist? I can't seem to find them on micro-tools. I need one to adjust a mirror in an old Minolta 9000 (the nut in question is inside the mirror chamber.

Many thanks, Sam.

Would an offset wrench do the job?

Possibly, but it would have to be quite deep set as the nut is slightly recessed inside the camera. Do you have any links for some good small ones?

Have you checked Sears?

The simple way is to modify a cheap tubular socket by welding/brazing on a handle, at 80/90 degrees. Here in the UK, the Draper brand used to market a set of straight nut runners. These looked like jewellers screwdrivers with a socket on the end, instead of the screw tip. With the use of a small propane torch, it was possible to bend the shanks just below the handles. This is how I obtained mine, for similar mirror chamber adjustments.

Thanks for all the help. It looks like I may end up following Glenn's advice.

Sam.

I think Micro-Tools has similar nut drivers that you might be able to heat and bend. Beware of their very cheapest grade, though: they're awful.
