I am cleaning and lubricating a Honeywell Pentax SP 1000 camera and have encountered a problem while re-installing the mirror box. In particular, two of the springs on items sharing pivot point with the Mirror Lock-Up Lever have come loose and I cannot see where to attach them. One is the spring that pulls the lock-up lever inward. The other is the spring that loops over the long arm of the Diaphragm Closing Lever Latch. One problem is that none of the illustrations that I have found accurately describes my camera. Photograph 45 from the National Camera Spotmatic Manual comes close but my camera has an additional two-armed plate and spring mounted on this shaft above the diaphragm closing lever latch of Figure 45. Does anyone have any better illustrations or instructions?
