I recently bought a C35 which seems never to have been dropped, kicked, or hammered but nevertheless the rangefinder is out of adjustment. When I focus on an object at 3.5 ft the images coincide and the lens scale reads 3.5 ft. but when I try to focus on an object at 200 ft. the images coincide when the scale reads less than 15 ft. When I set the scale at infinity the images have moved beyond coincidence. I am aware of the RF adusting screw inside the door under the viewfinder but when I remove the little cover screw, the adjust. screw seems to be frozen. I have been reluctant to try Ronsonol on it partly because I wonder if there is another adjustment elsewhere which may solve my particular problem. Thanks for any help.
