Hi all. Have a Yashica Atoron (metal body) and everything works apart from the shutter. Film advance, meter, sliding filter are all ok but no click! I don't have a cassette yet, but I was wondering if it needs a cassette in place before the shutter will cock? Can't see anything in the film path.
All the best.
Scott.

I have both Atorons, as long as everything else is OK they don't need film to cock and fire the shutter.
