In my Fed - 5B, the shutter's "B" function doesn't work as it should. When I hold finger at the button for about five seconds, the shutter closes after about 0,5 second. What is the problem?

2 possible simple reasons if all other times work:
- check the release plate (underneath the camera), it should be adjustable.
- check the curtain tension. Possibly the second curtain is too weak.

Another possibility is that the shutter release button might be sticky and not coming back up immediately when you let go of it: FEDs tend to be lubricated with a blend of beeswax, tank tread grease and rubber cement that can get a bit stiff with age.....
