Hi,
I'm trying to change the film door on a RETINA II. unfortunatly it does not seem to be screwed on the hinge as on retinette. Does somebody know how to remove the hinge axle pin?
regards

G'day Tfo,

There were a three or four models of Retina II cameras, but if I was throwing around generalisations I'd say just use something to punch that pin out of the hinge with the aid of a hammer. Of course you'll have to search high and low for a suitable object to use as a punch, but that's life. To make the process as stress-free as possible try squirting a little penetrating oil, WD-40, CRC, or whatever the local "tool-kit in a can" product is into the hinge and leave it to sit for day before attacking that pin.
Regards, Chris

Thanks for your help Chris. The hinge is under "penetrating oil" for few hours and pearhaps tomorrow with the proper hook...
Thanks also for your site which is very useful for me, even if my english is not totally up to the level to understand everything!
