I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the illustrated parts breakdown for a Minolta X-9? The camera advance lever won't go past the 30 degree point and the meter lights come on when I partially press the shutter release then go out when the button is fully depressed. I think the release capacitors in my camera are shot but I'm reluctant to open it up without a map.

I've dug around the search function a bit but I keep getting either 400 results or 2, hopefully I'll get the hang out it.

It's pretty similar to all of the xg series mechanically and one of the last. You seem to have a mechanical problem in addition to the shutter release capacitor problem. Probably a wind over travel problem. I'd start by pulling the bottom plate and watching what is going on when you attempt to wind. The solution is likely here in the archives. The shutter capacitor certainly is here. I've posted it more than once.
