I am thinking of buying a Retina Reflex. There are too many versions (the original, S III, IV. I don't know which one will suit me. I have heard many people said that they are not reliable. Is that true?

I accumulated several over the last 40 or so years. They were so cumbersome to use and 'un-handy' that they seldom were used. I put them in a pile with some other retinas and retina RF's, accessories, lenses, filters, cases, etc. and got a surprising amount on an internet auction site as a 'collection'.
